Jess Carroll, Lily Parker, John Waller and Michael Hanley are four members of local five-piece Second Hand Heart.

Now part of the reason why I have been so busy is that I FOUND MY OWN PLACE!!!

Many of you may not know that I busted out of the nest and nomaded my way around Melbourne right about the time that Covers began back in December, but I have a house now, and this is where we filmed this weeks jam.

Here in my sweet North Carlton living room, we covered local chick Ainslie Wills’ most recent single Fighting Kind.

Alright, it finally happened. I got super Greek and cheesy on your asses.

Introducing my beautiful father , George Miltiadou. He is the best, he loves his guitar, and as Greek Easter was upon us last weekend we took the opportunity of loud family vibes to debut our first Father-Daughter jam.

This cover of Cat Stevens – Father and Son was filmed in our Templestowe backyard. Cheeky little kids and all.

Kira Puru and Jamieson Shaw make up one half of badass Newcastle band Kira Puru & The Bruise.

Frontwoman Kira, and bass player Jamieson, have been just finished up touring Melbourne with the rest of the band for their most recent single ‘When All Your Love Is Not Enough’ (killer clip, make sure you check it out).

We caught up at the band’s East Brunswick accomodation this week to film a cover of Wandering Star by Portishead.

Bec Rigby is the killer voice behind R’n'B pop band The Harpoons.

Their single ‘Walk Away’ has just been released off the back of a recent signing to local label Two Bright Lakes.

We hit Fitzroy’s Edinborough Gardens around sunset this week to record a cover of a cover…..

Courtesy of Bec’s bro we managed to pull together a six piece horn section for this performance of Emotion by the Bee Gees based on the Destiny’s Child – Neptunes Remix.

Thankyou Gus, Lena, Dan, Audrey and the two Will’s for lugging down those instruments for us, and to Elly Denn for recording sound.

Twincest is the coming together of two Sydney queens Hayley Foster (ex-Chain Gang frontwoman) and Laura Noir (Black Dogs).

This week was a special one, with three Ministry of Dance talents (Nikki, Mel and Miranda) choreographing to our one and only woman Beyonce – End of Time.

Tina Stefanou, Joe Franklin and Oscar Dawson make up Melbourne-bred, Berlin-based trio Planet Love Sound.

The band are launching their debut EP in the New Year with a 12″ vinyl release alongside.

We filmed this cover of Love Came Here by Lhasa De Sela on Tina’s family farm.

Billy the goat got a bit of a serenade.
